Gamers unite! It’s the holiday season, and there are lots of good deals to be had. That said, why play by someone else’s rules when buying a gaming device?
If you’re up for a challenge, it’s time to put together a list of hardware for a gaming-computer build. I’m sticking to the Z97 chipset for now since the newer X99 uses expensive DDR4 memory. There are many brands and combinations of hardware, but this is what I would most likely build right now considering the price of the hardware. This build should be able to play all the latest 3D games maxed out with the AMD R9 290 graphics card and the 4790K cpu. The cost of this build is around $1,900. So let’s do this.
