15,000 Cookie Combinations? Yum!

Sweet Flour Bake Shop

These days you can customize just about anything – from M&Ms to wine labels to cereal. Now there is a new store in Toronto, Sweet Flour Bake Shop, that allows patrons to design their own baked treats and eat them fresh from the oven two minutes later. I love it!

Customers begin by choosing a cookie dough base and then selecting from more than 20 mix-ins, including chocolate chunks, dried blueberries and toffee pieces. Apparently there are more than 15,000 possible combinations. Two minutes after customizing your selection, your cookie is finished using Sweet Flour’s innovative baking process.

The cusomization opportunities don’t just stop at cookies. Sweet Flour also offers customized muffin tops, cookie sandwiches and signature homemade granola with mix-ins and fresh fruit.

Obviously customized products can be expensive (Sweet Flour’s cookies start at $2.50 Canadian) but I continue to see new concepts popping up fairly regularly.  Would you pay for a customized cookie break?
