Fast Horse’s New Building Is Only Two Months Away From Completion!

After several years of planning, countless revisions, and what seems like endless problem-solving during construction, we’re about two months from opening the doors at the new Fast Horse World Headquarters.

We bought the building in 2006. It was formerly a repair and maintenance facility for one of the neighboring warehouse buildings. It served us well for seven years, but we’ve grown — and it’s high time to expand.

Using the building’s original footprint, and working within the constraints of a very small parcel of land, legendary Minnesota architect David Salmela, along with Salmela project architect Malini Srivastava, have designed a building like no other in the North Loop — or anywhere else in the Twin Cities, for that matter. When all is said and done, we’ll have two additional floors, twice as much office space, and a rooftop deck with spectacular views of the downtown skyline.

Here are a few recent photos of construction progress. There’s still a lot to do, but already it’s obvious that the transformation from the original building is quite spectacular.

Our temporary space in the Open Book building has been great for the past six months, but we’re all very excited to start 2015 in our new digs. Hope you’ll stop by for a visit!
