I don’t know about the rest of you, but the moment I walk into a hospital, my hands get clammy, I get tight in the chest, queasy and even a bit light-headed. Maybe it’s the bright lights, disinfectant smell or a plethora of things, but something conjures up claustrophobic feelings that I have to fight to keep under control.
Fortunately, I don’t have to spend a lot of time at hospitals, but for those who do, RxArt (www.rxart.net) is a feel-good remedy for what ails you. The inspirational non-profit seeks to give patients, visitors and staff hope and relieve stress and anxiety through unique contemporary works of arts. Take a look at some photos from recent installations. How sick is that?
