Friendsgiving With The PoniesNovember 25, 2015
By Sam Tuttle, Account Manager
It’s hard to believe it’s already Thanksgiving week! We kicked off the belly-filling festivities here at Fast Horse yesterday with our second annual Thanksgiving potluck. Everyone brought in a dish to share, and we took a break from the work day to share a little lunchtime feast with friends.
Judging by the delicious homemade stuffing, sweet potatoes, giant spread of desserts (including Gaterud’s now-famous butter pie and shout-out to Sammie’s paleo pumpkin bars) and everyone’s immediate need for an afternoon nap, I’d say the first potluck in the new building was a success!
I can’t take credit for contributing anything homemade to our Fast Horse feast, but I might get a little ambitious and try to make something for my family’s events tomorrow. Check out some of these spins on more traditional Thanksgiving dishes I might take a stab at.
Each year I try to become a big fan of sweet potatoes — the marshmallows tempt me every time! Not quite there yet as a sweet potato enthusiast, but I think this recipe could put me over the edge.
Leftover Stuffin’ Muffins — because why should the feasting end on Friday morning?
Wish me (and my family) luck with my cooking skills, and sending a big Happy Thanksgiving from the Fast Horse crew!
