It’s a question people just toss out. A conversation starter. When that question has been thrown my way lately, I break out into a big smile because, well… I work with some pretty kick-ass people on some pretty amazing things. And sometimes I just can’t help but brag.
A couple of recent highlights, for me, have been the recent Diet Coke Tastemakers Project and the SweeTango apple season.
Diet Coke Tastemakers Project
The project was a design collaboration with Whitney Port, who created four chic Diet Coke-inspired tote bag designs and invited fans from across the country to vote for their favorite. To celebrate the winning design — which is available in Target stores now — we created a series of videos featuring Whitney talking about her design inspiration, how she got into fashion, fall fashion tips and more. We then used those spots as part of our pitch about the winning tote bag design with online media and bloggers during New York Fashion Week. That’s right: Diet Coke, Whitney Port, Target and fashion… does it get any better?
You may have noticed a couple of us have recently written about SweeTangos. And why not? They are hands down the best-tasting apples around — and only available for a limited time. I often bring these babies to friends’ houses, my kid’s teachers, random people at soccer, because I honestly think everyone in this world should try them. But, this season, when asked what we’re doing on SweeTango, the first thing that comes out of my mouth is “you have to check out the new website we built!” It’s beautiful, mouth-watering and celebrates our passionate fan base. See for yourself and tell me it doesn’t make you want to run out to the store and buy the apple. While you’re looking around, don’t forget to check out our interactive map that was built as part of our in-retail campaign called the SweeTango Sweet Spot. All season long, we’re inviting fans to help us “grow” the map by uploading their favorite place to buy SweeTangos for a chance to win a season’s supply of apples and a trip to one of our orchards.
Of course, this just a taste of what we do at Fast Horse. So next time I see you, don’t hesitate to ask me what’s new. As you can see, I’m more than happy to to go into detail.
