Scott and I are in Charlotte this weekend coordinating a series of media events at the Coca-Cola 600 featuring NASCAR driver Kyle Petty, NBA star Yao Ming and two-time taekwondo gold medalist Steven Lopez.

Yao and Lopez also will be honorary members of Kyle Petty’s #45 Coca-Cola team on race day, and will help introduce limited-edition collectible Coke cans. All of this is part of Coca-Cola’s Olympic promotion “Connect With the World Over a Coke.”    

We typically don’t work with spokespeople who are 7′6″ or could kick our teeth out if they take issue with our direction. If we survive, we’ll post about our Coca-Cola 600 weekend when we return.  Meanwhile, visit our flickr page, where photos from our events will be uploaded Sunday afternoon.
