Hey, MTV! I’m starting a new television channel called RTV. It stands for ‘Reality Television,’ except there will be no reality TV…just music. Kidding, of course, but that’s about how far MTV has strayed from their original purpose of Music Television since its launch in 1981.
Google’s new social networking platform is rolling out this week. It looks like Google+ has some cool features, especially the way it lets you manage specific groups of friends. But I’m fairly happy with Facebook and it’s exhausting to think of starting from scratch with Google+.

Huge crowds. Lots of waiting. Tight spaces. Little sleep. Impatience. I don’t know about you, but Black Friday doesn’t sound like fun to me. It sounds more like a giant headache. Even so, I’ve been telling myself for years that I should wake up early to join the Black Friday madness and get the full experience of it all. It still hasn’t happened. I absolutely LOVE to shop, but so far, Black Friday deals have not been attractive enough for me to put myself into a nightmare when I could be sleeping instead.
e story of an angry Vancouver Canucks player grabbing a Minnesota Wild fan last week at Xcel Energy Center made for great video and plenty of sports chatter. This incident should be so over by now … but it’s not. And I’m blaming the fan at this point for dragging things out.
