I love holiday parties! Between the food, the cocktails, the games, NSYNC’s holiday album — I’m assuming that’s a staple at everyone’s holiday party — what’s not to love?

A few months ago, my holiday party dreams came true when we began working with Chex on The Go-To Guide For Holiday Party Magic. The idea was to create a one-stop destination for consumers to get all the tips, recipes and inspiration for throwing a holiday party.

To make this magic happen, Chex partnered with cocktail gals and Food Network personalities Alie & Georgia, along with Ali Ebright of Gimme Some Oven and Courtney Whitmore of Pizzazzerie.

The centerpiece of the campaign is the video below, where our influencers share the dos and don’t of holiday party hosting, like what to do with those pesky double-dippers and how to avoid a call to poison control when making a Mistletoe Marg.

While we’ve all come to know and love the Ugly Sweater Party, we wanted to give consumers new holiday party themes that were fun, modern and easy to pull off! With the help of party experts, Chex created three new holiday themes.

First, we have Mad About Plaid.

Plaid is the fun and modern twist to the Ugly Sweater Party. Also, the Candied Pecan Chex recipe that goes with this theme is out of this world!

Then there’s Mistletoe and Margaritas.

Because it’s a not party unless tequila is invited.

Lastly, we have Holiday Carol Karaoke.

Karaoke is the perfect way to ensure every guest finds one way to embarrass themselves.
